Place a tattoo on a garment

The tattoo tools paint a picture into a garment’s textures. Choose a target and inspect the placement on the 3D model.

Choose a design and target

  1. Open Tattoos. Select a built-in design or choose Add tattoo and pick a PNG or JPEG from your device. Transparent PNG avoids placing a solid background on the skin.
  2. Click the garment surface where the tattoo should start. Pedify selects the new layer and shows a gizmo on the model.
  3. Use the stage to drag the design into place. Rotate the ped and zoom while checking where it crosses seams or wraps around the body.

Adjust the placement

In Gizmo mode, choose Turn or Resize. Adjust Size, Angle, Opacity and Depth in the panel. Choose Mirror to add the matching placement on the other side. For game tattoos, use the zone and search controls; those are placed at the game’s defined location and cannot be moved like a custom image.

Manage layers and undo

Select a tattoo under Layers to edit it, change its order, or choose Remove. Every placement or adjustment is a history step; Undo reverses it. The source texture remains available so removing the tattoo layers restores the garment’s previous appearance.
