Pedify guide
Read GTA clothing category codes
The filename code identifies the slot; the number identifies a drawable within that slot. Pedify’s display number is one higher than the zero-based filename number.
Match a filename to a category
Read the letters before the underscore as the category code. For example, jbib_003_u.ydd is a model in the jbib slot, shown in Pedify as Top 4: the file index 003 is zero-based, while the display count starts at 1.
Common clothing codes
| Pedify category | Code |
|---|---|
| Head | head |
| Masks | berd |
| Hair | hair |
| Arms and torso | uppr |
| Pants | lowr |
| Bags and parachutes | hand |
| Shoes | feet |
| Undershirts | accs |
| Tops and jackets | jbib |
| Hats and caps | p_head |
| Glasses | p_eyes |
Check variants and matches
A matching .ytd often contains the textures for the model. Suffixes such as _a_uni identify a texture variant; do not rename the file to match the number shown in Pedify. Import the set and compare the detected Category and Variants before adding it.
