Create hair colour variants

Open Hair colours

1. Select a hairstyle in Hair.
2. Open Hair colours in the inspector and choose a source under Based on.
3. Click a swatch to preview it on the ped. Choose Stop showing to return to the original texture.

Choose and create colours

Select swatches in Natural or Other. To add a custom colour, enter a hex value such as #7d5636 or use the colour picker, then choose Add colour. Tick only the colours you want and press Create variants. Each chosen colour becomes a new texture variant; the source variant stays unchanged.

Check the result

Compare each new variant on the model and in the Variants list. Undo removes the creation step if you want to start again. If the panel says the hairstyle has no room for another variant, remove or review variants before retrying.
