Locate GTA V clothing folders

Use the path examples to find freemode clothing in your own GTA V installation. Updates and patch archives can change which copy the game loads.

Start at the base-game archive

In OpenIV or your archive browser, the base freemode clothing is under x64v.rpf\models\cdimages\streamedpeds_mp.rpf. The male and female folders are mp_m_freemode_01 and mp_f_freemode_01. Props are in the neighboring streamedpedprops.rpf archive, in folders ending with _p.

Find a DLC pack

Updates commonly store a pack below update\x64\dlcpacks\<pack>\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages. For example, the captured 2026-01 freemode pack uses mp2026_01_male.rpf or mp2026_01_female.rpf. The exact archive and internal folder can differ by pack.

Search for folders beginning mp_m_freemode_01 or mp_f_freemode_01, then verify the actual model and texture files inside. Props may be in a separate pack-specific _p.rpf.

Check update overrides before exporting

A later patch archive may contain the version of a file the game loads, even when an older copy remains in its DLC folder. Compare duplicate filenames and consult the installed game’s dlclist.xml load order. Do not assume that exporting only the pack’s original folder includes the newest copy.

Use the files in Pedify

Extract only the pack folder you want to inspect, then choose it in Catalog with Choose catalog folder. Use the catalog summary to check detected garments and missing textures before adding anything. The listed paths are reference examples; confirm them against your own game update.
